British Airway's David Clark named WFS safety and security chief
MAJOR air freight handler Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has appointed David Clark as its new global head of safety and security on February 27. He will be reporting directly to WFS chief executive Craig Smyth and will be based in Paris.
Mr Clark joins WFS from British Airways, where he spent 17 years in various senior management roles in the fields of engineering and ground operations, according to London's Air Cargo News.
Said Mr Smyth: "David's appointment brings not only a deep understanding of aviation safety and security risk and regulatory frameworks, but also a current perspective from a major international airline and WFS customer."
WFS handles more than for 300 airlines at 145 airports worldwide as well as providing passenger and ramp handling services.
