New TIACA head urges collaboration, visibility across air cargo sector
INCOMING Secretary General of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) Vladimir Zubkov, who takes over from Doug Brittin in the New Year, is calling for stronger collaboration and visibility across the global air freight supply chain.
Speaking after the Leaders, Executive, and Design Summit (LEADS) roundtable discussion held during the 2016 Air Cargo Forum (ACF) in Paris, Mr Zubkov highlighted that his appeal is supported by the views expressed during the meeting.
"There are many relevant organisations, both globally and regionally. If we work in harmony, customer satisfaction and success are guaranteed. If we pull in different directions, customers will find a way to reprove us," Mr Zubkov was quoted as saying in a report by American Journal of Transportation.
"I look forward to bringing the combination of my commercial experience and my comprehension of the complexity of uniform implementation of regulations, to TIACA. I believe our main objective is that there must be compatibility in procedures and regulations throughout air cargo supply chains.
"TIACA is the only organisation to represent all segments of the global air cargo community, and together we can find solutions to the current challenges we face and build a better business for the future," he added.
