Cathay deploys Cargospot software to gain greater air freight efficiency
CHAMP Cargosystems has deployed its Cargospot software for Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways to improve reliability, efficiency and adaptability in cargo automation.
CHAMP Cargospot operates in more than 130 airlines and cargo operators in 75 countries worldwide, reports Singapore's Payload Asia.
"The Cathay-CHAMP collaboration has resulted in a new and innovative solution that goes beyond anything we have accomplished before," said CHAMP Cargosystems CEO Arnaud Lambert.
"We have been working in close collaboration with Cathay Pacific, paying close attention to its long-term business goals and delivering continuous business benefits," he said.
Said Cathay cargo chief Simon Large: "We are very pleased with the cutover. CHAMP's technology and ongoing support will keep us at the forefront of an ever-changing air cargo industry."
