CMA CGM rebrands US Lines' oceania and transpacific services
FRENCH shipping line CMA CGM has announced that since mid-October US Lines' services have been rebranded as ANL on the Oceania trades and as APL on the transpacific trades.
ANL said it is providing the same sales coverage, vessel network, executive involvement, trade, pricing team and service to US Lines' customers, reported American Shipper.
The move follows an announcement by CMA CGM in August that it would consolidate the existing transpacific businesses of its ANL and US Lines brands between North America and Asia under the APL brand.
CMA CGM, the third largest container carrier, acquired a majority stake in Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), the Singapore-based parent company of APL, earlier this year.
