Lufthansa's budget carrier flies Seattle-Cologne thrice weekly next July

LUFTHANSA'S low-cost carrier Eurowings will begin thrice weekly nonstop flights from Seattle to Cologne from July 11, 2017, the company announced.

By next summer, Seattle will have service to three destinations in Germany on three airlines. To Frankfurt with Lufthansa and Condor, to Munich with Condor and to Cologne with Eurowings.



Eurowings will fly three weekly flights from Seattle to Cologne/Bonn Airport from July through October using 310-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Flights will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.



Eurowings, a Lufthansa unit, is a low-cost leisure airline that focuses on providing customers with affordable flights to more than 130 destinations in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
