NPSEL handles over 1,000 TEU through Ningbo Port in October
NINGBO Port Southeast Logistics Co. Ltd. (NPSEL) has reached a milestone by handling more than 1,000 TEU in October using sea-rail combined services through Ningbo Port.
NPSEL is a leading logistics enterprise under Ningbo Port Authority (NPA) and was established in 2009 offering sea-rail services.
Currently, NPSEL has the most extensive coverage of NPA's sea-rail services in the hinterland. The company has set up 14 stations/sites along the Yangtze River and the railway line since its inception.
At present, NPSEL offers combined sea-rail services out of Hefei, Xiangyang, Liling, Nanchang, Xinyu, Shangrao, Yingtan and other places, in line with the NPA's new strategy.
Since October last year, the company started new sea-rail businesses from Yiwu, Changxin, Xiaoshan in Zhejiang Province, and Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, which also part of the Yangtze River Region.
NPSEL plans to further expand it's sea-rail business next year.
