Abu Dhabi Terminals at Khalifa port handles milestone 5m TEU
ABU Dhabi Terminals, the operator of Khalifa Port Container Terminal, handled five million TEU as of October 28, which the company hailed as a "milestone."
The strong throughput result was driven by the company's positive performance in the first half of the year, during which Khalifa port handled 11 per cent more containers than in the same period in 2015, reported Gulf News.
It added that the operator reached the milestone while serving the CMA CGM Pegasus, a vessel belonging to Abu Dhabi Terminals' long-term customer, CMA CGM.
