DHL Supply Chain appoints Jez McQueen as MD for Hong Kong and Macau
DHL Supply Chain has appointed Jez McQueen as managing director to lead its Hong Kong and Macau operations. Mr McQueen has been with the company for 24 years.
Prior to his latest appointment, Mr McQueen transformed the company's growth strategy in Greater China, exceeding business development targets for five years in a row, a company statement said.
During his time in the Middle East and Africa -- as head of industrial development and solution design director -- he developed end-to-end supply chains and operational toolkits for the oil and gas industry; designed solutions for the automotive, technology, and retail sectors; and rolled out several integrated services that saw him increase new long-term contract revenues by 20 per cent in one year.
Greater China CEO Yin Zou said: "Jez has proven invaluable as the head of business development for our operations in Greater China, combining deep expertise in all sectors with formidable acumen for turning supply chain innovations into substantial long-term improvements in customer satisfaction and revenues alike."
As MD for Hong Kong and Macau, Mr McQueen will be responsible for growth across multiple sectors including aviation, consumer goods, healthcare, retail and technology. He will take a leading position in integrating solutions with freight and logistics services from South China's major development zones, as well as improving efficiency and yields from infrastructure that includes 24 facilities and 140,000 square meters of warehouse space in Hong Kong.
