MOL launches new mobile application to improve customer services
TO help customers to know when, how and where their cargo is, Japanese shipping giant MOL Liner has launched a new MOL mobile application available for download on the App StoreSM and Google PlayTM.
The MOL Liner App features many of the functions customers regularly use on MOLpower.com, including benefits such as fast container tracking and viewing of service profiles, the shipping company said in a statement.
It also displays the VGM information with a status (VGM received, VGM not received) and the tare weight.
Said MOL Liner chief operations officer Yutaka Hinooka: "Rapid explosion of mobile technology over the past few years has enabled businesses to increase visibility and accessibility, reinforcing the brand, as well as building customer loyalty through fast on-the-go information and communications. MOL seeks to provide state-of-the-art mobile solutions for our customers and partners."
