Maersk levies US$150/box peak season surcharge Nov 15 from N America
Maersk Line has announced it will levy a peak season surcharge of US$150 per container on all dry cargo from North America to the Mideast and south Asia from November 15.
Specifically, the per box charge will apply to all dry cargo from the Pacific south west (Oakland, Los Angeles and Long Beach), Canada, US east and Gulf coasts to Middle East, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka from November 15 until further notice.
