CMA CGM levies US$500/TEU increase on Asia-West Africa cargo December 1
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will levy a US$500 per TEU increase in rates on all cargo including dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk from Asia to West Africa starting December 1.
Called a Rate Restoration, Asia for the purposes of this increase is defined as including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, south east Asia and Bangladesh.
