Lisa Terry to head US EXIM Bank's newly created Office of Ethics

LISA Terry has been appointed the new senior vice president and chief ethics officer of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM).

She previously worked with EXIM Bank from 2006 to 2013, including as EXIM Bank's assistant general counsel for administration.

Ms Terry re-joins EXIM to head the newly created Office of Ethics after serving as general counsel of the US Office of Special Counsel.

Chairman and president Fred Hochberg was quoted as saying in a report by American Journal of Transportation, "Lisa's extensive experience in federal government ethics make her the best person for the position."

Ms Terry brings 25 years of public- and private-sector legal experience in Washington, including 20 years in the field of federal ethics law. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
