Hapag's South America east coast 5,447-TEUer withdrawn for maintenance
GERMANY's big container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd has announced that its 5,447-TEU Venezia will be withdrawn for one round voyage due for regular maintenance.
The vessel will be phased out at New York on November 17, and will perform a revised northbound rotation calling Port Everglades, Jacksonville, Charleston, Norfolk, Philadelphia, New York for discharge only.
The scheduled New York southbound position on November 8 will be covered by the 4,600-TEU Bea Schulte voyage 001S which will perform one round voyage.
The Bea Schulte will be phased out at New York on January 5, 2017. She will also perform a revised rotation northbound calling Port Everglades, Jacksonville, Charleston, Norfolk, Philadelphia and New York for discharge only.
The Venezia will return to service on scheduled New York southbound position on December 27 basis voyage 015S.
