Globelink NVOCC Phils Inc sets up new branch in Philippines
CWT GLOBELINK has now expanded its network with the establishment of Globelink NVOCC Phils Inc in the Philippines.
Globelink NVOCC Phils will be led by Tess Cabral, a trusted, reliable name in the shipping and freight forwarding industry, said the company statement.
"Together with her team of capable, experienced and dedicated professionals, they will enhance business in the Philippines and strengthen Globelink's presence," the statement said.
CWT Globelink Group now has a presence of 108 offices in 29 countries including Australia, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Egypt, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom and Vietnam as well as agents covering all major ports of the world.
"The Philippines is a consumption driven economy and its consistent economic growth offers tremendous market opportunities," said the Globelink statement.
"It is therefore an important strategic decision for CWT Globelink to establish direct presence in the Philippines to ride the growth and to provide better and more comprehensive services to all our partners in the network," it said.
Globelink Philippines move direct weekly consolidation services to and from various ports with seven export trade lanes and 10 import trade lanes.
It will also provide niche services for inter-island connections from Manila to the three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
