Nancy Matthews to lead life sciences at Crane Worldwide Logistics
NANCY Matthews has been appointed the new senior director and vertical lead of life sciences at Houston-based Crane Worldwide Logistics, an ocean, air, trucking, customs brokerage and logistics company.
Ms Matthews will be responsible for the company's global strategy for the life sciences market and developing bespoke logistics solutions for customers, including Medtronic and St Jude Medical.
"Nancy's leadership experience and proven ability to provide exceptional solutions for challenging and sensitive logistics projects makes her a perfect fit to lead the success of our life sciences approach," president and chief executive John Magee was quoted as saying in a report by London's Air Cargo News.
"Acting as a trusted adviser to the life sciences vertical is a key focus for Crane," Mr Matthews revealed.
Crane opened a new office and warehouse at London Heathrow in August. The 3,150 square metre facility offers greater warehouse space, e-commerce support, pick and pack operations and labelling.
