The mainland government has introduced the Belt and Road development strategy to strengthen economic cooperation with the regions concerned, said the HKTDC statement.
The speaker will be HKTDC economist Wing Chu, responsible for market research in the Greater China, including the economic and industrial relations between the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other regions.
He has over 15 years of research experience in electronics trade, technology, environmental protection and a number of professional services, said the HKTDC statement.
"While Hong Kong is a preferred services platform for mainland enterprises seeking international expansion, more business opportunities will be available to service providers with the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative," the HKTDC said.
