Hong Kong's CargoSmart tracks troubled Hanjin's missed calls
HONG KONG's CargoSmart Global Vessel Voyage Monitoring Centre has tracked troubled Hanjin's ship movements in light of the Korean company's appeal last week to the courts for bankruptcy protection.
CargoSmart found that among the 88 container vessels in Hanjin's fleet, 52 missed their schedules, and 46 with August 31 ETAs have not yet arrived or on September 1 at their next port of call, said CargoSmart.
"Six vessels with an original estimated time of departure on August 31 - September 1 have not yet departed from the ports.
"We will continue to monitor the situation and report updates. Check your vessels' current positions and latest schedules at visibility.cargosmart.com/en/vesseltrack/." said CargoSmart
"We are also offering free tools to help you closely monitor your shipments on Hanjin vessels. Learn more: www.bigschedules.com/#!/hanjin-tracking"
