Maersk increases east-bound rate US$1,200/TEU and $1,500 per FEU
MAERSK, the world's biggest container carrier, has announced an increase in transpacific eastbound rates for all cargo from the Far East transiting east and west coast ports in the US and Canada.
The increase will be applied from October 1 and amount to US$1,200 per TEU, $1,500 per FEU, $1,500 per FEU high cubed and $1,905 per 45-footer.
