London September 21-22 date for 9th Arctic Shipping Summit
WITH less than just a month to go for the 9th Arctic Shipping Summit in London, organisers have confirmed the speakers taking part in the event, which will focus on achieving operational excellence, profitability and compliance in Arctic regions.
Speakers addressing the summit, to be held September 21-22, include: executive director, Arctic Portal, Halldor Johannsson; general manager, "K" Line Bulk Shipping (UK), Georgi Yorgakiev; sea personnel manager, ESL Shipping Ltd, Mikko Rausti; safety engineer Deltamarin, Leif Baarman; and Ministerial adviser, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Finland, Johanna Ikavalko.
The summit will also provide opportunities for network with the senior level executives from the industry including shipowners, ship managers, coastguard and transport authorities' executives, as well as consultants, researchers, brokers, financiers and investors.
