Asia-Europe rate rises 4pc to US$695/TEU, drops 6.9pc to Med ports
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to Northern Europe increased four per cent to US$695 per TEU in the week ending Friday, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
The Asia-Mediterranean component of the SCFI dropped 6.9 per cent to US$553 per TEU, IHS Media reported.
