A380 to replace B777-300ER on Emirates' Dubai-Guangzhou route
FOLLOWING a decision to an operate Airbus A380s from Milan to Johannesburg, Emirates announces it will deploy an A380 on its daily Dubai-Guangzhou service from October 1, instead of the Boeing 777-300 ER that is currently in use.
The new aircraft will have significantly lower cargo capacity than the plane it replaces, although it offers 15 per cent more passenger capacity, reports London's Air Cargo News.
Other destinations served by Emirates' A380 include Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, London, Paris, Sydney, Toronto, Auckland, Bangkok and Seoul.
