Hong Kong to host Cool Logistics Asia Conference September 7
THE second Cool Logistics Asia Conference will be held on September 7 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
The one-day conference will provide unique insights into the latest trends in Asian perishable supply chain operations, including specific commodity and logistics market analyses.
The programme includes presentations and discussions focusing on perishable logistics and e-commerce, the latest perishable product overview, final mile, ocean freight, cold chain risk management, air freight, less-than-container load (LCL), intermodal and technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT) and data security in the perishable supply chain.
The topics on the agenda include: The changing perishable trade patterns, intra-Asia shipping, modal split and transport connectivity in Asia, perishable product solutions and innovations, and the outlook for 2017.
The organisers of the conference said in a statement: "We bring together the complete perishable supply chain from origin to destination and attract the top names in the business."
Cool Logistics Asia 2016 will also coincide with the Seafood Asia Exhibition from September 6-8 in Hong Kong. This will provide a unique opportunity for both the fresh produce and seafood communities to meet on common ground.
