Belgian port of Zeebrugge cut from CMA CGM mega ship FAL 1 service
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has drop the Belgian port of Zeebrugge in a review of port coverage on FAL 1 service
The 13,800-TEU CMA CGM Jules Verne in voy 115 FLE in the FAL 1 service will no longer call at Zeebrugge with the last vessel to call in the loop will be the 16,020-TEU CMA CGM Vasco de Gama voy 113FLE on August 29.
As from 16,000-TEU CMA CGM Alexander von Humboldt voy 109 FLE in the FAL 1 service will no longer call at Dalian. Last vessel calling there will be 13,344-TEU CMA CGM Maggellan voy 107FLE expected on September 16.
Once those 2 changes are implemented, FAL 1 new rotation will be the following: Southampton, Dunkirk, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Malta, Khor Al Fakkan, Jebel Ali, Shanghai, Tianjin Xingang, Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai (WB), Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Port Kelang, Algeciras and back to Southampton.
