GAC continues to expands adds new office in Brazil to serve Acu port
GAC Brazil has opened a seventh office to offer shipping, logistics, bunker fuels and marine logistics services at one of the country's newest port complexes, in the north of Rio de Janeiro state.
Located at Sao Joao da Barra RJ, the new office covers operations at the Acu port complex which is 315 kilometres north of Rio de Janeiro city. Acu has 10 berths with a depth of 21 metres.
Its plans to add another 20 berths will put it on track to become one of the largest port complexes in Latin America, reported GAC's Hot Port News.
Project manager for GAC Brazil Logistics, Jorge Nikulin, said: "For project logistics, port Acu is a bright place for development, combining strategic localization with opportunities for growth. GAC Brazil is gathering synergy through its services to offer a complete solution to our customers backed by ship agency, project logistics and our full package of logistic solutions."
