Qantas wins three accolades in SkyTrax World Airline Awards
QANTAS has scooped three accolades in the SkyTrax World Airline Awards after the airline continued to make improvements to its product line.
A Qantas representative said the airline has now moved up one spot to ninth place in the rankings for the top 10 overall best airlines globally.
"We've worked hard on improving our product and these awards and our improved ranking in the top 10, match up nicely with the really strong customer satisfaction we're seeing through our own passenger surveys," the representative said in a company release.
"We often say that our people are our best asset and the win for Best Airline Staff in Australia-Pacific is a testament to what a great job they do on the ground and in the air," he said.
The other two awards Qantas won were Best Airline in Australia/Pacific and Best Premium Economy Class Onboard Catering. The group's unit Jetstar won the award for Best Low Cost Carrier in Australia/Pacific.
