Unique Logistics moves ocean carrier rates into CargoSphere cloud
HONG KONG forwarder Unique Logistics International has expanded its relationship with rate distribution and cloud-based rate management provider, CargoSphere.
"CargoSphere enables us to easily manage and distribute rate updates online in real-time for a faster response to rate requests." said Unique Logistics assistant general manager Victor Chau.
"This improves Unique Logistics' customer-oriented approach. CargoSphere's cloud platform is our path to time and cost savings, as well as improved data accuracy," said Mr Chau.
Unique Logistics' 800 staff in 50 offices worldwide now has access to ocean carrier rates via CargoSphere's SUDS - smart upload and diagnostic solution.
This enables them to immediately upload carrier rates and subsequent rate updates directly into their centralised rate database in the CargoSphere cloud.
Said CargoSphere president Neil Barni: "Unique Logistics will reduce time and effort by systematising their rates in a single database of past, present and future freight rates for more timely quoting, performance evaluation, and invoicing down the line."
