Hapag-Lloyd CEO to address Sept 13 Hamburg meet after UASC buyout
GERMANY's Hapag-Lloyd CEO Rolf Habben Jansen, who's company recently bought Dubai's United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) will be the keynote speaker at the Container Trade Europe 2016 conference in Hamburg on September 13-14.
Mr Habben Jansen, 50, will be looking at the market outlook from the carriers' perspective, the impact of new and larger shipping alliances and consolidation, carrier financial conditions and service issues.
Others attending will be Celanese, Deere & Co, De'Longhi Group, Dover Corporation, First Solar, General Electric, H&M, HP Inc, IKEA, Leggett & Platt, PepsiCo, Philips, Walt Disney Company, VF Corporation, Whirlpool and others, say JOC organisers.
