AirBridgeCargo adds 6th China destination with Chongqing flights
RUSSIA's AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has introduced flights to Chongqing, a leading commercial centre, reports the American Journal of Transportation.
Operating from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport Wednesdays and Fridays, flights will be linked with ABC's Shanghai service returning to Moscow.
The flights will complement Shanghai frequencies and accommodate cargo flows from the central China.
This provides access to an important Chinese economic area guarantees reliable connections in Russia, Europe and the US.
"Chongqing is our sixth point in China, which makes our footprint in this country stronger and guarantees the coverage needed to ensure we are meeting our customers' needs," said ABC vice president Robert van de Weg.
China was the first to welcome ABC's international services in 2004. Starting its operations from Beijing and Shanghai, it later continued its expansion to include Hong Kong in 2006, Zhengzhou in 2010 and Chengdu in 2012.
