Jan de Rijk trucks, China Eastern team up in Amsterdam and Prague
DUTCH transport and distribution specialist Jan de Rijk Logistics will now provide road-feeders in Prague and Amsterdam for China Eastern Airlines, reports New York's Air Cargo World.
China Eastern Airlines is starting the route with three A330-200 flights a week. The carrier is also rolling out passenger flights between Shanghai and Amsterdam on A330-200 aircraft four times a week starting June 26.
Robert Kleppers, senior sales executive at Jan de Rijk Logistics, said the partnership was "natural," given that his company has "been working closely together with China Eastern and China Cargo for many years".
Jan de Rijk Logistics provides transport and distribution with its fleet of 1,000 vehicles across Europe. The company also offers warehousing, distribution and home deliveries.
