CMA CGM announces multiple rate increases to US$300/TEU mid-July
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will increase a rate of freight rates throughout it service system, the company announced.
"In a continued effort to provide reliable and efficient service, CMA CGM wishes to informs customers of the following Rate Restoration," the company said.
From Indian sub-continent and Middle East-Gulf to West Africa rates will rise US$300 per TEU starting July 16.
From Asia, including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh, to Kenya and Tanzania rates will rise US$300 per TEU starting July 15.
From east coast South America to sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and west coast of India, rates will rise $200 per TEU and $300 per FEU from July 15.
