ICTSI Iraq upgrades to NAVIS SPARCS N4 to operate terminal
BASRA Gateway Terminal (BGT) say they have successfully implemented the Navis Sparcs N4 terminal operating system.
Upgrading to Navis Sparcs N4, from an in-house operating system, will help the Basra container terminal increase terminal productivity by managing resources in a more efficient way while improving the safety of employees.
"With the goal of expanding our throughput capacity with the new container berth coming operational in Q3 this year, we looked for best-in-class technologies," said BGT chief executive Phillip Marsham.
The implementation of Navis Sparcs N4 TOS was solely managed on site by internal resources from International Container Terminal Services Inc in the EME region.
