Air cargo network to provide bankruptcy protection, boost buying power
A NEW air freight network of hand-picked, by-invitation-only specialist companies across the supply chain is being set up to improve members' expertise and buying power. So far the airline partners include AirBridgeCargo an Etihad Cargo.
Another benefit will be a 'SAFE' scheme offering members financial protection including from bankruptcy or bad debt by other members for US$500 per year.
Branded Neutral Air Partner, its CEO and founder Christos Spyrou said the idea is to create a group of leading, independent advanced air cargo specialists selected by industry specialisation, reported Air Cargo Asia Pacific of Perth.
Further benefits for members will include global volume incentive agreements with carriers and suppliers, global airline agreements and IT tools.
