CMA CGM increases Asia-South Africa rate US$200/TEU from May 15
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has announced a rate increase on all cargo from Asia to South Africa of US$200 per TEU and $400 per FEU from May 15.
Terming the increase a "Rate Restoration Programme", CMA CGM defines Asia to include Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh and South Africa to include Durban and Cape Town.
