Hanjin starts China-US service, linking Shanghai to Long Beach
SOUTH KOREA's Hanjin Shipping has launched a new express service on its Asia-US trades, branded China America Express Service (CAX) that links Shanghai to Long Beach.
The service deploys five 4,000-TEU ships and will reduce a transit time of 13-14 days to 11 days, reported Korea IT Times.
With the opening of CAX, the carrier has also reinforced its sales force dedicated to its Asia-US shipping service.
"By launching a service that links China's Shanghai and Ningbo to the west coast of the US, we can promise customers faster delivery and shorter voyages spent at sea," said Hanjin Shipping.
