Saudia will soon add bellyhold capacity to Munich, Maldives and Ankara
SAUDIA will add bellyhold cargo services to new destinations Munich and Maldives in the coming weeks, with services to Ankara starting towards the end the year, reports London's Air Cargo News.
Bellyhold space of up to 30 tonnes will be available on Boeing 777 and Airbus A320/A330 passenger aircraft serving the new routes, the Saudi Arabian airline.
Saudia Cargo CEO Nabil Khojah was quoted as saying that the new destinations will contribute to achieving the Middle East carrier's objective of reaching new markets.
Saudia Cargo operates a fleet of dedicated freighters and sells the belly-capacity on passenger aircraft for the flag carrier, spanning a rapidly expanding global network. The airline also provides worldwide cargo charter solutions.
