CMA CGM levies US$125 TEU congestion charge in Tunisian port of Rades
VESSEL delays due to the port congestion in Rades, a seaside suburb of the Tunisian capital Tunis, are causing severe disruptions of services and additional operational costs.
CMA CGM will consequently implement an Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge of EUR110 (US$125) per TEU.
