FedEx cuts transit times one day in six tier 2 & 3 cities in China
FEDEX Express announced it has cut one business day from delivery times for its international outbound express services to Wuhan, Weifang, Taiyuan, Harbin, Shenyang and Lanzhou.
To help customers speed up their connections to the global marketplace, the express delivery firm has been upgrading its international outbound express services in China's second- and third-tier cities since 2015, a company statement said.
"FedEx relies on its strong global network and reliable customs clearance services to offer specialised logistics solutions that enable customers to enter the international market faster and better," said FedEx China chief Eddy Chan.
The company has accelerated its international outbound express services in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Dalian, Yantai, Weihai, Ji'nan, Zibo, Chongqing, Chengdu, Changchun, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Wuhan, Weifang, Taiyuan, Harbin, Shenyang and Lanzhou.
