Damco signs Bettenwelt to handle Asian cargo for Germany and Spain
MAERSK's standalone forwarder Damco has signed a five-year deal with European retailer Bettenwelt as its sole inbound logistics provider Asian to Germany and Spain.
The five-year contract includes integrated supply chain management solutions at origins and destinations, reports American Shipper.
Overall, the agreement is an extension of a partnership between the two companies, as Damco has managed Bettenwelt's inbound flows from Asia to Germany and Spain since 2013.
Bettenwelt is part of the global JYSK Group and specialises in the retail of mattresses, duvets, pillows, furniture, home furniture and home accessories.
