JAXPORT seeks bids for cargo sales and business contracts
FLORIDA's Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is soliciting proposals until April 11 from "Qualified Consultants" interested in providing comprehensive cargo sales and business consultant services on a part-time basis, to tap opportunities in the growing US northeast region.
This role will specifically be concentrated in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, in addition to servicing customers in the US Midwest, where occasional travel will be required, a statement from port officials said.
Primary responsibilities will include conducting sales calls and determining market strategies for potentially any cargo type handled at JAXPORT, with a concentration on customer relations with roll on/roll off, and high and heavy target accounts.
