SHANGHAI International Port (Group) Co (SIPG) box volume was up 3.5 per cent year on year in 2015 to 36.54 million TEU, making Shanghai the world's busiest container port, though, net profit dropped three per cent to CNY6.56 billion (US$1.01 billion).
In the first two months of this year, Shanghai port handled 5.53 million TEU, down 3.5 per cent year on year, reported Seatrade Maritime News.
