Kansas City's air cargo up 8pc in February to 15.8 million pounds
THE Kansas City Aviation Department has announced that Kansas City International Airport has experienced its busiest February since 2008 after seeing air cargo volumes, including freight and mail, rise 8.1 per cent.
A total of 15.8 million pounds of air cargo was handled at the airport. Air freight accounted for most of 15.3 million pounds total. Air mail accounted for the remaining 462,123 pounds, reported the Kansas City Star.
