UAL pilot charged with staffing Texas brothels with Russian women
A UNITED Airlines pilot has been arrested and charged with of running brothels in Houston apartment complexes, reports the US Lawyer's Herald.
The airline has expressed dismay at the allegations, saying that the pilot had been taken off flying duties.
Bruce Wayne Wallis, 51, is alleged to have been charging women US$400 a week to sell sex under his management.
Wallis was summoned in court and is out on $15,000 bond, reported by ABC News. "It's the largest operation that I've ever worked on," said prosecutor Lester Blizzard.
Wallis was also indicted for using Easter Aero, his flight school and charter service, to provide the women, many of whom are Russian, with valid employment records and financial statements.
