LBC Express opens new warehouse in Dubai as business booms
PHILIPPINE courier, LBC Express (UAE) has opened a new 11,700-square-foot warehouse at the Al Quoz Industrial Area 1 near two large shopping malls. The new facility will also house the company's head office and call centre.
The express firm opened in 2008 with one branch in Karama, Dubai, and has since added two branches in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah to meet growing demand, and now has 200 store agents and partners, reported Dubai's Khaleej Times.
Globally, the group has a network of 6,400 locations, partners and agents spread over 30 countries in Asia Pacific, North America, the Middle East and Europe. Founded in 1945 as a brokerage and air cargo agent, LBC Express pioneered time-sensitive cargo delivery and 24-hour door-to-door delivery in the Philippines.
