CMA CGM adds Nossi Be, Antsiranana to north Madagascar port coverage
CMA CGM has extended the coverage of its Indian Ocean Feeder North to include Nossi Be and Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) in addition to Majunga. The shipping line operates the fortnightly service with one 738-TEU vessel.
The first ship to be deployed on the new port rotation will be the HH South, which is due to call at Longoni on January 27.
"The Indian Ocean Feeder North will connect with Swahili service at the Longoni hub, allowing a faster and easy connection from Europe, Mediterranean, India and Middle East Gulf to Indian Ocean 'North Zone,' a statement from the carrier said.
The port coverage is as follows: Longoni, Moroni, Mutsamudu, Nossi Be (alternate call), Antsiranana (alternate call), Majunga, and back to Longoni.
