CMA CGM Swahili Express to call Nacala, Mozambique on Asia-Africa loop
FRENCH shipping line CMA CGM has added a new direct call at Nacala, Mozambique, to its Swahili Express Service that plies the route linking the Indian subcontinent and Middle East Gulf to East Africa and the Indian Ocean.
The Swahili Express is a weekly fixed-day service operated with six vessels of up to 2,800 TEU. The carrier said in a statement that the first direct call at Nacala will be performed by the Kumasi on January 20.
The port rotation is: Nhava Sheva, Khor Fakkan, Jebel Ali, Longoni, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar, Nacala (fortnightly call), Port Victoria, returning to Nhava Sheva.
