United posts 5.1pc increase in air freight in 2015, passengers up 1.5 pc
UNITED Airlines (UAL) has posted a 0.2 per cent year-on-year increase in December's air freight to 223,908 revenue ton miles as well as recording a 5.1 per cent year-to-date increase of 2.61 revenue ton miles.
UAL's December 2015 consolidated traffic (revenue passenger miles) increased 1.5 per cent and consolidated capacity (available seat miles) increased 2.2 per cent versus December 2014. UAL's December 2015 consolidated load factor decreased 0.5 points compared to December 2014.
United Airlines and United Express operate an average of nearly 5,000 flights a day to 352 airports across six continents. In 2014, United and United Express operated nearly two million flights carrying 138 million customers.
