One-way transatlantic flow tops other box trades in profitability
THE transatlantic container trade, with a strong dollar sucking imports and weakened has depressed exports is the key characteristic of the traffic, reports IHS Media.

The Europe-bound slump was worsened by an 11 per cent fall in Canadian exports, which account for around a fifth of the eastbound trade compared to a 6.2 per cent drop in outbound US. shipments and a 1.3 per cent slip in Mexican sales.
