China's January to November rail freight volumes contract 12.3pc
TOTAL rail freight volume in China in November decreased by 15.6 per cent from a year earlier to 270 million tons, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
Year-to-date the volume of goods carried by China fell by 12.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2014 to 3.07 billion tons, underscoring the slowdown in domestic economic activity, reported Reuters.
