Estonia's Port of Tallinn volumes fall, boxes off 37pc, bulk by 20pc
ESTONIA's state-owned Port of Tallinn's November freight volume fell 31 per cent year on year to 1.57 million tons, reports Baltic Course, of Riga, Latvia.
In the first 11 months of the year cargo throughput declined 19.7 per cent to 20.8 million tons.
November's containers volume fell 37 per cent to 15,282 TEU and the number of goods transported in containers was down by 34,500 tons to 136,500 tons. Bulk cargo fell 20.9 per cent to 40,100 tons.
The port received 127 visits by freight ships in November and 1,544 during the first 11 months of the year.
