AirBridgeCargo adds Atlanta to US service network
AIRBRIDGECARGO Airlines (ABC) has expanded its US service network by commencing twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter flights to Atlanta as of November 20.
The scheduled service operates on Fridays and Sundays, with onward connections to Europe and beyond to the airline's online stations in Russia and Asia.
The carrier started service to Los Angeles earlier this year and its US network already includes Chicago and Dallas, reported Air Cargo World.
"During the first 10 months of 2015, we have doubled our volumes on China-US routes," ABC's senior vice president, sales and marketing, Robert van de Weg, was quoted as saying.
Since launching flights to Chicago in 2011 the carrier has achieved a compound annual growth rate in tonnage to/from the US of 36 per cent and annual volumes to/from the US of 56,000 tonnes.
